Job summary

F6 Data Solutions seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission‑critical cooling systems for hyperscale data centers. You will perform checks, validate installations, and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues on complex equipment.

You will travel to project sites as needed, sometimes up to 100%, with travel costs covered and per diem for meals.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Willing to fly to project regions as needed.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and teamwork.
• Experience with hydronic and glycol cooling loops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of cooling systems in hyperscale data centers.
• Perform pre-functional equipment checks and assist with commissioning tests.
• Verify equipment installation, piping connections, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot hydronic, chilled water, glycol, and air handling components.
• Read and follow electrical schematics; assist with control issues.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with startup leads and senior technicians.
