Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers across the United States.

This hands-on role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, reading schematics, and traveling up to 100% with per diem and relocation support as needed. You will work closely with senior technicians to resolve complex equipment startup challenges.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience working with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability; hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation for local travel when applicable
• Willing to fly to work regions

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers.
• Hands-on role; perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision while assisting senior technicians during complex startup activities.
• Support equipment startup and commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU systems.
• Execute pre-functional equipment checks and assist with commissioning tests.
• Verify equipment installation and piping connections; identify system performance issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in hydronic, glycol, and air-handling equipment; troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Maintain field documentation and reports; coordinate with startup leads and teams.
