Fermi America is seeking a Director of Data Center Construction to lead the owner’s representation and field execution oversight for the hyperscale data center program. Qualifications

• 18+ years of progressive construction management experience in hyperscale or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience as owner’s representative or senior construction lead on multi-building programs.
• Strong command of GMP, lump-sum, and EPC structures, including change orders and pay applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s representative to GC and tenant leadership for all data center construction activities.
• Lead and manage a team of DC project managers across concurrent building phases.
• Drive milestones, schedule adherence, and cost control for shell, core, MEP, and enclosure scopes.
• Manage escalations, disputes, and alignment on priorities at the program level.
• Oversee GMP and construction contract administration, including change orders and pay apps.
• Coordinate with design and engineering to ensure construction-ready packages and issue resolution.
