Job summary

Fermi America seeks a Senior Data Center Technical Manager to serve as the technical authority for data center engineering and infrastructure across the hyperscale program. You will own electrical, mechanical, controls, fire protection, and BMS design standards and drive technical standardization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data center engineering or critical infrastructure.
• 8+ years in hyperscale or mission-critical environments.
• Experience as technical authority or design liaison.
• Experience with vendor management and procurement.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority across all data center MEP disciplines and standards.
• Review design deliverables for conformance with basis of design and codes.
• Own and maintain data center basis of design and technical standards docs.
• Provide technical support to design partners and resolve challenges.
• Lead vendor qualification, FAT, and commissioning oversight.
• Mentor a team of electrical, mechanical, and controls SMEs.
