Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center construction in Saline, MI. You will guide projects from design through commissioning, coordinating owners, contractors, consultants, and engineers to ensure schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets are met.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in data center construction, deep MEP knowledge, and a track record delivering complex facilities with strong executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management within construction or data centers.
• Experience leading hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects.
• Experience from design through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (electrical, mechanical, cooling, critical power) and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center projects.
• Manage schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Coordinate owners, GC, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls.
• Develop schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk plans.
• Oversee commissioning activities and operational readiness.
• Lead project meetings and report to executives.
• Ensure compliance with specs and safety standards.
• Drive accountability across project teams.
