Job summary

Hypertec is seeking a Director of Construction - Data Centers to lead hyperscale data center projects across the United States. The role oversees mobilization, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in construction management for large facilities, 5+ years managing data center builds, and a track record of leading multi-site teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in construction management for large-scale facilities.
• 5+ years leading data center construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead nationwide hyperscale data center construction projects across multiple sites.
• Oversee mobilization, development, systems integration, and project completion.
• Ensure practices, standards, safety, and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Manage Construction Site Managers and coordinate with GC/subs Contractors.
• Provide regular progress updates and manage budgets, timelines, and scope.
