Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. The role manages all tenant fit-out construction aspects, coordinating trades, sequencing work, QA/QC, and delivery of critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has strong data center construction management experience, including containment, overhead conveyance, cabling, structural supports, and cooling. 50% travel outside GA is expected at times.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience in mission-critical or data center environments.
• Experience leading white space fit-out / tenant improvement projects in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet schedule.
• Excellent stakeholder and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects.
• Oversee installation of containment, overhead cabling, and IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Enforce QC processes to match design specs and standards.
• Monitor schedule and budget; identify and resolve risks.
• Support commissioning and handover processes.
