Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee tenant fit-out of hyperscale data center white space in the Atlanta metro area. You will coordinate trades, manage the schedule, and ensure delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in data center construction, with knowledge of containment, overhead systems, cabling, and HVAC. This role requires onsite work with occasional travel and a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience
• Experience with white space fit-out projects in data centers
• Strong QA/QC, scheduling and budgeting skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders
• Knowledge of containment, overhead systems, cabling, HVAC

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead cable tray and ladder racks
• Coordinate sequencing: structural supports → overhead → electrical → cabling → containment
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors and client stakeholders
• Enforce QC processes and ensure designs meet specs and standards
• Monitor schedule and budget; identify and resolve risks
• Ensure safety compliance and site protocols
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
