Job summary

Healogics seeks a Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee the safe operation of hyperbaric chambers and related systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 99 and CMS guidelines across outpatient wound care programs.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy, maintain equipment, train staff, document treatments, and lead safety drills while coordinating with medical leadership to revise policies and ensure patient safety in a high-demand clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)
• Current CHT or CHS certification preferred
• Pre or post hire HBO Safety course completion within past 5 years
• Pre or post hire respiratory or medical certifications as applicable
• Current healthcare professional certification or license relevant to practice
• Two or more years’ healthcare experience preferred
• Prior wound/critical care and supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise hyperbaric chamber(s) and related systems
• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy per provider instruction
• Maintain patient records and data entries daily
• Lead safety program, drills, and NFPA 99 compliance
• Coordinate upgrades/modifications with Program Director
• Collaborate with facility management and medical staff on policies
