Job summary

Healogics Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services LLC is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee the safe operation of hyperbaric chambers and related systems. The role ensures compliant, safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and maintains maintenance, records, and safety programs.

The position reports to the Program Director, collaborates with facility management, and drives safety initiatives across the hyperbaric facility to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• CHT or CHS certification preferred.
• Two+ years experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to operate under safety protocols and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Performs hyperbaric chamber operator duties and educates patients prior to treatment.
• Monitors therapy, controls chamber equipment, and ensures patient safety.
• Maintains complete patient records and documents daily treatments.
• Oversees chamber maintenance and safety, and verifies equipment readiness.
• Leads the hyperbaric safety program and conducts safety drills.
• Assists in policy development and compliance with NFPA 99 and CMS guidelines.
