Job summary

LVI Associates is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer – Hydropower for pivotal hydropower and renewable energy projects. The role involves leading structural teams, coordinating with multidisciplinary groups and mentoring engineers to drive delivery from design through execution.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in structural engineering, a strong background in large concrete/steel structures, and a track record in hydro infrastructure, dams and power generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with large concrete and/or steel structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering teams on hydropower, dam and power-generation projects.
• Coordinate structural requirements with civil, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and develop the hydropower team.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets and technical deliverables.
• Review calculations, reports, and drawings to ensure code compliance.
