Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a senior hydropower engineer to lead technical design efforts on hydropower projects. You will provide guidance on design guides, codes, and standards, and supervise project staff while ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables.

You will manage data collection, calculations, and client-facing work, with responsibility for budgets and schedules. The role requires a minimum 11 years of experience and active engineering licensure, in a hybrid work environment, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR).
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance on design guides, standards, and codes for Hydropower projects.
• Leads design teams and oversees staff on Hydropower projects.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables and calculations; manages data and quality.
• Manages project budget, schedule, and coordination with clients.
