Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead Hydromet Operations at the Pinto Valley site in Arizona. The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and execution of SX-EW processes to achieve production KPIs.

You will manage resources, coordinate maintenance, and drive continuous improvement across the operation. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in operations supervision, strong knowledge of SX-EW, and proficiency in English and MS Office.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of experience in an operations or supervisory role in an SX-EW facility.
• Strong working knowledge of solvent extraction/electrowinning/leaching methods and procedures.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (must obtain Arizona license).
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and Capstone’s Values in Action.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all employees and contractors follow Pinto Valley Mine and MSHA safety standards, operating procedures, and training/certification requirements.
• Team Leadership & Development: Direct, coach, and mentor Hydromet Operations staff, supporting skill development and performance.
• Operational Execution: Oversee leach, solvent extraction, electrowinning, and cathode harvesting activities to meet KPIs.
• Planning & Resource Management: Ensure manpower, safety supplies, equipment, and materials are in place within budget.
• Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Capture and analyze data to generate production reports and drive improvements.
