Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Senior Supervisor Processing Operations at its Pinto Valley mine in Arizona. You will lead daily ore processing activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and cost targets while coordinating with maintenance, metallurgy, planning, and engineering teams.

The role requires coordinating staffing, training, and data reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement and adherence to MSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in an operational leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of processing operations including crushing, milling, flotation, thickeners, pumping systems and filtration.
• Ability to lead and provide performance feedback to both hourly and salaried employees.
• Cross-functional coordination across multiple departments is essential.
• English language proficiency is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: ensure MSHA standards and company policies are followed.
• Operational Leadership: direct processing activities to meet production targets and cost objectives.
• Workforce Management: recruit, train, and develop the team; ensure proper certification.
• Planning and Resource Allocation: develop work plans and allocate manpower/equipment.
• Budget and Cost Control: input into budgets and manage resources to targets.
• Reporting and Data Management: capture operational data and produce reports.
• Continuous Improvement: identify and implement process enhancements.
• Maintenance Coordination: work with Maintenance to align plans and schedules.
