Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Supervisor Hydromet Operations at Pinto Valley Mine to lead leach, solvent extraction, electrowinning, and cathode harvesting while upholding safety and productivity targets. You will mentor the Hydromet team and coordinate maintenance to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and the ability to manage resources within budget, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with company values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in an operations or supervisory role in an SX-EW facility.
• Strong knowledge of solvent extraction/electrowinning/leaching methods.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (Arizona)
• Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and Capstone Values.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed; maintain training requirements.
• Lead Hydromet Operations staff, mentor and develop team; ensure shift handoffs.
• Oversee leach, solvent extraction, electrowinning, and cathode harvesting to meet KPIs.
• Plan manpower, safety supplies, equipment, and materials within budget; coordinate maintenance.
• Capture and analyze production data to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports; drive improvements.
