Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Sr. Supervisor Processing Operations to lead daily ore processing at Pinto Valley mine, Globe–Miami district, AZ. You will guide frontline supervisors and crews to meet production targets, ensure safety, quality, and cost objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes planning, staffing, and coordinating processing activities, delivering timely operational data, and developing team capability across departments in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an operational leadership role (Supervisor/General Foreman/Senior Supervisor).
• Strong knowledge of processing operations incl. crushing, screening, milling, conveyors, flotation (copper & moly).
• Ability to lead teams and provide performance feedback to hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong coordination and communication across multiple departments.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure employees and contractors meet MSHA standards and company policies.
• Operational Leadership: Direct processing activities to meet production targets, grade, quality and costs.
• Workforce Management: Recruit, train, and develop an effective team; ensure certification for tasks.
• Planning & Resource Allocation: Develop work plans, allocate manpower and equipment to meet targets.
• Budget & Cost Control: Contribute to departmental budgets and manage resources within targets.
• Reporting & Data Management: Ensure accurate data capture and support daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process, system, and equipment improvements.
• Maintenance Coordination: Align maintenance plans with production requirements.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Processing, SXEW, Metallurgy, Planning, Maintenance, Engineering, HSEC.
• Leadership Support: Provide guidance to Processing Operations leadership on planning and improvement initiatives.
