Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Sr. Supervisor Mine Operations at Pinto Valley, AZ. This full-time management role leads surface mining loading and hauling operations, guiding Supervisors and crews to deliver safe, efficient production while aligning with the site plan.

You will collaborate with Mine Technical Services, Dispatch, and Maintenance to optimize performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in the load-haul cycle.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of mining experience with leadership in surface loading and hauling.
• Experience coordinating mining production with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Proficiency with MineStar or similar fleet management systems.
• MSHA Part 48 Surface Miner Training or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Loading and Haulage Supervisors and crews to meet safety, production, and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Coach and develop supervisory staff and promote safe work practices.
• Coordinate daily loading and hauling with Supervisors to optimize resource deployment.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Dispatch to align mine plans and sequencing.
• Manage budget, scheduling, and overtime in support of production objectives.
