Job summary

Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) invites applications for a Hydrology Intern in the Hydrology Division/Field Services Section. This role supports groundwater and data management activities, including data standardization, database work (ACCESS/ORACLE), and GIS mapping techniques.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Geology, Hydrogeology, Geography, Hydrology, or related program and have experience with spreadsheets and databases.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled in school and pursuing a degree in GIS, Hydrology, Water Resource Management, Geology, Geography, or related field.
• Experience with computer spreadsheets, relational databases, and GIS mapping techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data conversion and standardization for groundwater and log data.
• Prepare digital data collection forms for Field Services operations.
• Organize files, review data, and perform data quality assurance/control.
