Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Basic knowledge of hydro blasting equipment and hazards.
• May require NCCER certifications at some jobsites.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-employment drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Hazard Communication orientation/test.
• Turner Industries Group indoctrination.
• OSHA approved PPE (Z87).
• Job site orientation and safety requirements as per client.
• Safety equipment as required by client.

Responsibilities

• Moves controls to adjust pressure and grit concentration to achieve the specified finish.
• Wears gloves and helmet/hood for protection.
• Mask areas not being sandblasted when required.
• May order materials as needed.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
