Job summary

Turner Industries is a Baton Rouge, LA-based industrial contractor seeking a Hydroblasting Crew Leader to direct abrasive blasting operations on site and ensure safety and quality. You will lead a crew, monitor equipment, and coordinate with clients to meet project goals.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of hydroblasting experience, a TWIC card, and the ability to supervise, maintain tools, and participate in safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of hydro blasting experience.
• TWIC card required.
• NCCER certifications may be required at some sites.
• Pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Moves controls to adjust pressure and grit concentration for the specified finish.
• Directs the crew and ensures safety and quality on site.
• Orders materials as needed and coordinates with supervisors.
• Performs site orientation and safety briefings as required.
