Job summary

B & B Hydraulics, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager/Project Manager to grow our Wichita-area hydraulics business. You will manage existing accounts, seek new customers, and provide consultative sales and technical support for hydraulic systems.

You will travel to customer sites, present quotations, and collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in hydraulics or industrial equipment.
• Mechanical background preferred; installation assistance may be required.
• Clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently.
• Experience with CRM systems and technical sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend hydraulic components, systems, and solutions that meet operational needs.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and technical product recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular customer visits to review performance, identify opportunities, and resolve issues.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and activity reports using CRM systems.
• Support customers with troubleshooting, product selection, and technical inquiries related to hydraulic systems and equipment.
