Thomas Instrument in Texas is seeking a hands-on Hydraulic Maintenance Technician to maintain hydraulic equipment, test stands, pumps, piping, valves, and related support systems in a manufacturing setting. This role emphasizes reliability, preventive maintenance, safe operation, and timely repairs of hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of hands-on experience, can read hydraulic schematics and blueprints, and communicates well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 1–5 years of hands-on mechanical or hydraulic repair experience.
• Ability to read complex hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Multi-tasker who pays attention to detail. Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Mansioni

• Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults. Finding root causes using pressure gauges, flow meters, schematics, manuals, and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, accumulators, hoses, fittings, piping, and filtration systems.
• Rebuild or replace worn, leaking, damaged, or failed pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and fluid hoses.
• Build, plumb, and test new hydraulic assemblies or circuits according to blueprints.
• Change fluids, replace filters, and calibrate system pressures to optimize performance.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic water pumps, pipes, check valves and filtration.
• Follow strict lockout/tagout procedures for high‑pressure systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, inspection results, and completed work documentation.
