Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a hydraulic technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems both in-branch and off-site at customer locations. The role includes field service, vehicle maintenance, and actively identifying new business opportunities on-site.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and ideally five years of hydraulic experience; certification is preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean MVR are required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Five years hydraulic experience preferred.
• Fluid Power Technician Certification preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components.
• Diagnose problems and prepare repair estimates.
• Repair and install new systems in the field.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and vehicle.
• Maintain inventory on service vehicle.
• Present a professional image and build customer relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities at customer premises.
