Qualifications

• Diagnose, repair, or maintain hydraulic equipment and systems.
• Read technical manuals, diagrams, schematics and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hydraulic equipment to identify leaks, wear or malfunctions.
• Diagnose issues in pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses and fittings.
• Repair, replace or rebuild hydraulic components as needed.
• Connect hydraulic lines using proper tools and procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance for safe operation.
• Use manuals and schematics to support troubleshooting.
• Test repaired systems and document results.
• Maintain records of inspections and parts used.
• Communicate findings to supervisor.
• Keep tools and work area clean and safe.
• Follow lockout/tagout and other safety practices.
