Job summary

HYDAC is seeking a Distribution Sales Manager in the United States to drive growth with assigned distributors by delivering technical support, product selection, training, and strategic sales initiatives. You will coordinate with internal teams to secure quotations and align with HYDAC’s corporate sales strategy.

You will build strong relationships, identify new opportunities, track performance, and report monthly on targets and distributor activity.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hydraulics knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience selling an engineered product.

Responsibilities

• Support relationships and business efforts with assigned distributors including technical support, product selection, training, sales calls, and general commercial support.
• Increase sales and profit margins with assigned distributors.
• Assist Regional Distribution Manager to implement HYDAC Corporate Sales Strategy, Distribution Programs alone with keeping CRM update for assigned accounts within the distributor (accounts not assigned to Key Account Managers).
• Responsible for coordinating internal resources (IE - Product Managers) as required to support distributor(s) for HYDAC products and solutions including quotations.
• Effectively communicate market trends and product competitiveness to management and new business.
• New business opportunities should also be communicated to Product Managers for review as required.
• Submit a monthly report to consist of target accounts updates, quotation feedback, and distributor updates and training.
• Provide HYDAC Corporate with other status changes, as well as forecast feedback for S&OP process.
