Job summary

Toyota Industries North America, Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to support and maintain IT shared services across North America.

The role integrates with Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, Azure, and virtualization platforms to ensure reliable operations. You will work in a hybrid Columbus, IN office with remote days, participate in after-hours on-call rotation, and collaborate with MSPs to manage WAN and data center activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing and administering Windows environments.
• Experience delivering a product, application, or technology from inception to implementation/ongoing support is preferred.
• Intermediate network experience (Cisco Routing, Switching, V-LAN; Firewall mgmt. Palo Alto).
• Strong knowledge of current Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, Office, SCCM/Intune, Group Policy.
• Experience automating the administration of Windows Environments.
• Experience providing end-user support for incidents, requests, and changes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to target communications to various audiences.
• Experience working in an ITIL environment.
• Experience administering Virtual Environments (Nutanix and VMware HCI) and Azure subscriptions.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar tracking system.
• Experience with Software Packaging and deployment.
• Scripting PowerShell, VBScript experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and recommend platforms, solutions, configuration, and infrastructure options for IT Shared Services.
• Contribute to roadmap evolution to meet current and future business needs.
• Improve efficiency of support for environment, applications, and customers.
• Collaborate to increase service availability with iterative infrastructure improvements.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, and patch Windows OS, applications, and SCCM/Intune tools.
• Administer and maintain shared services apps and infrastructure (AD, M365, ServiceNow, SD-WAN, DNS, TEAMS).
• Coordinate WAN troubleshooting with MSP partners.
• Participate in Sec-ops activities related to IT Shared Services.
• Support datacenters and Azure Tenants operations.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support via email, phone, and other channels.
• Participate in migrations and special projects; document standards and processes.
• Participate in after-hours on-call and maintenance windows.
• Follow best practices and ongoing training to improve skills.
