Job summary

RK&K seeks a motivated Structural Project Engineer to join our municipal infrastructure team in the PA region. You will own structural design scopes for water/wastewater facilities, leading technical tasks and coordinating with multiple disciplines from concept through construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural focus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
4+ years of structural engineering experience.
Proficiency with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318/350, AISC 360, TMS 402/602.
Experience with STAAD.Pro, RAM and RISA-3D.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, masonry, steel structures.
Prepare design calculations, plans, specs, and construction documents for municipal projects.
QC reviews of design deliverables for codes and client requirements.
Coordinate with process, geotechnical, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.
Provide construction-phase support including RFIs and shop drawing reviews.
Mentor junior engineers and develop project scopes and budgets.
