Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to drive planning, design, and delivery of essential water infrastructure projects throughout California. You will collaborate with project managers, technical experts, and multidisciplinary teams on treatment facilities, pipelines, and storage systems, with opportunities to lead and mentor.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering.
• 4+ years water and wastewater engineering experience.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents for municipal and private-sector clients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage project tasks, budgets and timelines to meet objectives.
• Participate in client meetings and build strong client relationships.
• Conduct analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations for planning, design, and implementation.
• Review plans and documents to ensure compliance with codes and quality procedures.
• Support construction-phase services including RFIs, shop drawings, site visits.
• Collaborate with senior managers to develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and EITs while expanding management responsibilities.
