Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to plan, design, and deliver essential water infrastructure projects across California. You will work with project managers, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams on treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, reservoirs, and distribution systems.

You will perform engineering analyses, prepare calculations and plans, and coordinate deliverables through design and construction.

Qualifications

4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
California PE license.
Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

Support planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in California.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specs, and construction documents.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions meeting objectives and schedules.
Manage project tasks and deliverables within budget and timeline expectations.
Participate in client meetings and serve as day-to-day contact to build client relationships.
Conduct analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations for planning, design, and implementation.
Review plans and documents to ensure compliance with codes and QC procedures.
Support construction-phase services including RFIs, shop drawings, and site visits.
Collaborate with senior PMs to develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
Mentor junior engineers and expand project management responsibilities.
