Job summary

Consor in California is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders from concept through construction, driving technical excellence, client satisfaction, and financial performance.

This role requires a California PE license, strong leadership, and experience managing scope, schedule, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience building and maintaining client relationships and supporting business development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Drive project execution strategies, identifying risks and solutions to keep projects on track.
• Develop and monitor detailed project work plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Lead client presentations, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, translating complex technical concepts into insights.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
• Oversee contract management activities, including scope development, negotiations, change orders, and documentation.
• Champion continuous improvement by implementing best practices, innovative technologies, and process enhancements.
• Partner with business development teams to identify new opportunities, contribute to proposals, and support project pursuits and interviews.
• Monitor project financials, including forecasting, invoicing, and profitability analysis.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, environmental, planning, and construction teams.
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing guidance on long-term infrastructure planning, capital improvement programs, and system optimization.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline
