Job summary

Consor, a leading engineering firm, seeks a PE-licensed Civil Engineer in Houston to design, analyze, and deliver water and wastewater projects that sustain communities. You will guide teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction while ensuring compliance and quality.

In this hybrid role, you will mentor junior engineers, engage clients, and drive project execution with sound engineering judgment and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/ Chemical/Mechanical engineering.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee design plans, specs, reports, calculations, and construction documents for water/wastewater systems.
• Apply regulations to develop technically accurate, cost-effective solutions meeting project objectives.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and system evaluations for planning and CIP.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, scope development, budgeting, and QA/QC across all phases.
• Prepare permitting applications and regulatory submittals with stakeholders.
• Support construction with RFIs, submittals, site visits and inspections.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
