Job summary

Consor is seeking a Professional Engineer to lead design, analysis, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will apply advanced engineering principles, prepare technical designs, and supervise quality across planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.

With 4+ years in water/wastewater, a PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, you will mentor junior staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Hybrid work environment (office and field).
• Willingness to perform site visits, field observations, and coordination with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and oversee engineering design plans, specifications, reports, calculations, and construction documents for water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Apply engineering principles to develop technically accurate and cost-effective solutions that meet client objectives.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, flow analyses, and system evaluations to support planning and capital programs.
• Coordinate design efforts with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency.
• Provide technical leadership, scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and QA/QC across project phases.
• Prepare permitting applications and regulatory submittals, coordinating with agencies and utilities.
• Support construction activities including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and field observations.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff to foster professional development.
