Job summary

Citi is seeking an Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst (Vice President) in New York, NY, hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on strategic leadership for enterprise application support, incident management, and cross-team collaboration to ensure reliable, secure platforms.

The candidate will guide senior analysts, drive high-priority incident response, and influence technology decisions that impact Citi's technology operations and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of progressive experience in Application Support, Production Support Engineering, Systems Analysis, or Enterprise IT Operations.
• Experience in high-availability, mission-critical production environments (Financial Services domain preferred).
• Proficient with Linux/Unix environments and Windows Server architectures.
• Strong SQL querying, data analysis and schema comprehension.
• Database experience with Oracle, Sybase, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure integration of functions and define system enhancements.
• Provide expert level apps support and guide problem resolution.
• Define system scope and objectives for complex enhancements and document requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to assess impacts.
• Identify risks and security issues, and propose mitigation options.
• Coach and guide junior analysts, delegate tasks, and ensure quality.
