Job summary

Windham Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant for a hybrid, full-time role with flexible scheduling including some evenings and rotating Saturdays.

Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required; the right attitude and willingness to learn are valued. You will welcome clients, manage phones, schedule appointments, and support the clinical team in a busy hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage multiple phone lines and provide excellent telephone service.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate daily workflow.
• Process payments and assist clients at check-in/out.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Update client and patient information accurately.
• Assist veterinary technicians with patient handling and restraint.
• Support veterinarians and teammates as needed.
