Central Animal Hospital in Stoneham, MA is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist / Technician Assistant. This full-time hybrid role focuses on client interaction, reception, and supporting daily front desk operations, with opportunities to assist the clinical team as needed.

You will greet clients, schedule appointments, and manage records while developing hands-on veterinary skills under supervision. Training and growth opportunities are available in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service or reception experience preferred.
• Veterinary hospital, animal care, or medical office experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of animal handling or veterinary terminology preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn veterinary software systems, including ezyVet.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both administrative and clinical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Greet clients and patients, creating a welcoming and professional experience.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage client inquiries.
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and technical staff.
• Educate clients on wellness recommendations, preventive care, prescription refills, and hospital services.
• Process payments, prepare estimates, and maintain accurate client accounts.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using ezyVet.
• Assist with appointment flow, patient check-ins and checkouts, and daily hospital organization.
• Support a clean, organized, and efficient reception environment.
• Assist technicians and veterinarians with basic patient handling and room prep.
• Obtain patient histories and assist with routine appointment preparation.
• Support basic patient care and nursing tasks under supervision.
