Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Sr Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist - Non-Driver to manage relationships with carrier partners and optimize transportation sourcing.

The role focuses on maintaining carrier databases, exploring alternative carriers, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure aligned processes and effective performance. A strong emphasis on negotiation and process improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years direct experience with customer service and/or operations.
• 5 years automotive industry and/or logistics experience.
• Servant team member with ability to build strong trusted relationships.
• Enjoys solving problems and able to resolve conflicts through strong mediation skills.
• Motivated, driven, and can influence and drive teams to success.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for our network of carriers and form lasting relationships.
• Leverage internal and external partners to grow carrier partnerships.
• Remediate issues and address escalations promptly.
• Maintain carrier database and onboard new volume carriers.
• Negotiate rates to secure competitive pricing while aligning with market baselines.
• Lead conversations to terminate underperforming lanes/contracts.
• Provide weekly regional Wins, Opportunities & Threats insights.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
