Job summary

RK&K in Virginia is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to lead highway and roadway design efforts for public clients. You will guide a team of engineers, manage multi-modal projects, and ensure plan quality and client satisfaction. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in civil/transportation design, a PE license, and proficiency with OpenRoads/MicroStation/InRoads plus MS Office, with knowledge of applicable design criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of civil/transportation/highway engineering experience.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, InRoads and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-modal transportation planning and design projects.
• Review and certify plans, models, and documents to standards.
• Analyze interchange studies and propose design solutions.
• Mentor junior staff on transportation design tasks.
• Direct project staff and sub-consultants; liaison with clients.
