Job summary

RK&K is looking for a dynamic Transportation Project Manager to lead highway and roadway design projects across Virginia. This role involves spearheading a skilled team in multi-modal transportation planning while developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of civil engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a P.E. license. The position offers a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits including paid time off and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of experience in civil engineering design and/or transportation/highway engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Strong understanding of Federal, State and local design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-modal transportation planning and design projects.
• Review and certify engineering plans and models.
• Mentor junior engineering and technician staff.
• Produce and oversee construction documents and cost estimates.
• Serve as liaison between clients and the firm.
