Job summary

WSP is seeking a Technical Director, Project Management for the Mid-Atlantic South Region. You will lead major transportation programs, manage cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations to deliver successful projects.

This hybrid role allows part-time remote work with some in-office presence, based out of Baltimore, DC, or Herndon offices. The position emphasizes proposal development, cost estimation, and strong program management leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related field.
• 12+ years of post-education experience with 5+ years in transportation projects.
• PMP or CAP-M certification or established equivalent experience.
• Strong project management, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams of professionals to execute project work and manage budgets, hours, expenses and scope.
• Support development of proposals, cost estimates, schedules and resource plans.
• Assist PMs with budget development, ETCs, recovery plans and invoicing processes.
• Lead changes, quality management and contract change orders.
• Coordinate subcontract development and amendments and client communications.
• Provide project reporting and maintain QA/QC throughout project lifecycles.
