Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Technical Director, Project Management for the Mountain Pacific Region. Lead cross-functional teams on major transportation programs, oversee budgets and schedules, and drive quality and risk management across multiple initiatives.

You will develop proposals, estimates, and resource plans, support PMs with ETCs and invoicing, and maintain client communications while guiding staff toward project success in the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related field.
  • 12+ years of post-education experience with 5+ years in transit/transport projects.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery in A/E/C and project management.
  • PM certification or equivalent experience (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
  • Analytical, organized, and business-minded with strong communication.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate, and guide staff across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support major transportation programs and projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee budgets, hours, expenses, and contractual obligations to deliver projects.
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Assist PMs with budget development, ETCs, recovery plans, and invoicing.
  • Contribute to change management, quality metrics, and QA/QC activities.
  • Develop contract changes, subcontracts, and client communications.
