Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Technical Director, Project Management for the Mid-Atlantic South Region to lead complex transportation programs, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule and budget.

Based out of Baltimore-MD, Washington DC or Herndon-VA with a hybrid schedule, this role requires 12+ years experience, PMP or equivalent, and proven leadership in multi‑project environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant post education experience with 5+ years in transportation projects.
• PM certification or equivalent (PMP, CAP‑M) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver mid‑to‑large transportation projects within scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor budgets, hours, expenses, and contractual obligations across multiple projects.
• Provide regular client reporting and ensure QA/QC across deliverables.
• Support contract changes, risk management, and contract compliance.
