Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Livonia, MI is seeking a Training Specialist in a hybrid role (in-office three days a week, Monday–Wednesday in office) to shape the learning journey for store and corporate teams.

You’ll design course materials, develop engaging content, and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver effective training programs. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in training content development, with LMS and eLearning tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 2+ years' experience creating training content in retail or customer service.
• Experience with learning management systems and learning resource distribution.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, adult learning, and evaluation principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design computer/web-based, self-study and instructor-led training materials.
• Demonstrate facilitation to diverse audiences.
• Develop and deliver content using e-learning design methods.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to build training.
• Coordinate training events, schedules, and logistics.
• Own training administration and reporting.
