Job summary

HTSS, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist in Johnston, RI for a hybrid, long‑term temporary role (about 1 year) with potential for temp‑to‑hire. You will develop training content, deliver training sessions, and become the SME for the supported systems and processes.

Responsibilities include creating ILT, SOPs, and eLearning materials, delivering classroom and virtual trainings, and partnering with teams to address training gaps. Strong facilitation and LMS proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering technical or operational training.
• Experience creating classroom and eLearning materials.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of progressive training experience.
• Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of training platforms and LMS technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Instructor‑Led Training (ILT), SOPs, job aids, eLearning content, and assessments
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job training
• Become a subject matter expert on assigned systems, processes, and procedures
• Partner with operational and product teams to identify training needs and curriculum gaps
• Update training materials as systems and procedures change
• Track participation, assessment results, retraining needs, and program effectiveness
• Recommend improvements based on training evaluations and results
• Utilize current training methods, tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Manage multiple training initiatives and stakeholders
• Support emergency/storm‑response activities when required
