Job summary

Better Being is seeking a Total Rewards Analyst who is hands-on with data to partner with the Director of Total Rewards. Build pivot tables, Excel formulas, and Power BI dashboards from HRIS data to turn pay, benefits, and workforce trends into actionable insights.

This role focuses on analysis within existing tools (Excel, Power BI, Workday), not data engineering. Hybrid onsite in Ogden, UT with occasional Salt Lake City travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HR/compensation analytics with hands-on data reporting.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot, INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP).
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI.
• Basic SQL or eagerness to learn SQL.
• Knowledge of HR metrics and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI and Excel dashboards for leadership.
• Support compensation analysis, market pricing, pay equity.
• Analyze turnover, retention, hiring, promotions and org effectiveness.
• Analyze benefits utilization and enrollment trends.
• Deliver customized analyses to support People Team initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting with AI tools.
• Assist with benefits planning, budgeting and audits.
