Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling. You will implement test plans, validate tolerances, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver reliable solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 0–2 years of experience, strong analytical abilities, and proficient written and spoken English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Typically 0–2 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Designs portions of engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling.
  • Implements test plans for existing designs, including tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, acoustics.
  • Develops understanding of internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical and thermal design.
  • Collaborates on a project team to develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
