Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Typically 0-2 years experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of thermal properties of materials and heat transfer.
  • Understanding of design for sheet metal and plastic parts and associated tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Design portions of engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware and production tooling.
  • Implement test plans including tolerances, form/fit/function, shock & vibration, acoustics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on mechanical and thermal design.
  • Contribute to a project team to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.
