Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a mechanical engineer in the United States to design and analyze mechanical hardware, enclosures and production tooling. You will validate designs using CFD and thermal mockups, and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and typically 2–4 years of experience, with strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Designs portions of engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling.
  • Develops and implements parameters and test plans for existing designs, including validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, fan curves, power measurements and acoustics.
  • Collaborates with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical and thermal design and development.
  • Participates as a project team member to develop reliable, cost-effective high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
