Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Finance division. This hybrid role requires on average 2 days per week in an HPE office, with responsibilities spanning mechanical and thermal design, validation, and tooling for complex products.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with 6–10 years’ experience, strong CAD (ProEngineer) skills, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in mechanical and thermal architecture of electronics packaging design.
• Designing sheet metal and plastic parts and associated production tooling and processes.
• Using CFD and thermal mockups to validate thermal solution.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple project teams of mechanical hardware engineers and partners through all stages of mechanical/thermal development.
• Manages relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical/thermal design and development.
• Reviews designs for compliance with guidelines and standards; provides feedback to improve quality.
• Provides mechanical/thermal leadership across cross-functional projects and programs.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects.
