Job summary

MFA Incorporated is seeking a hybrid agronomy sales role in the Owensville, MO area. You will support farmers with row crop, forage, and livestock solutions, emphasize relationship-building, and drive service-led sales growth.

The position requires a degree in agriculture or equivalent sales experience, with travel up to 80% within the designated territory. You will collaborate with teams on product recommendations and budgeting support while contributing to overall business development and

Qualifications

• Degree in agriculture or 2 years of equivalent Sales experience.
• Knowledge of Agronomy is preferred.
• Residence within commuting distance of assigned territory.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory (approximately 80%).
• Strong sales skills with proven sales success.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities across row crop agronomy, forage, and livestock feed/mineral.
• Support sales goals through strong service, follow-up, and business development.
• Partner with producers on Agronomy and livestock solutions.
• Support product recommendations and service coordination across row crop, hay/pasture, and feed/mineral programs.
• Assist with operational logistics, including coordinating applications, supporting inventory movement, delivering feed, and pulling NH3 tanks.
• Support location operations during peak seasons and high demand periods.
• Track expenses and support location financial reporting.
• Assist with forecasting, budget planning, and monitoring operational performance.
