Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecom Section Manager to lead telecommunications design for data center projects nationwide. You will oversee a team of leads, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders.

The role requires extensive knowledge of structured cabling, RCDD credential, data center construction, and strong leadership. Hybrid work with offices and remote locations is supported, with competitive benefits and salary.

Qualifications

• Requires leading designs for Telecommunications structured cabling systems.
• Experience in data center construction and familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead project teams across multiple clients.
• Forecast projects and staff resources.
• Budget multiple projects and monitor spend.
• Mentor project leads through design processes.
• Review DIV 27 specs and modify as needed.
• Conduct site visits and review technical docs.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and deadlines.
• Communicate with department manager and telecom leads.
